A Night to Unite

National Night Out is a yearly festival where neighbors reconnect with one another. This year we are sponsoring a great band for free music in Race Street Park.

DATE: Tuesday August 7, 2012

TIME: 7 p.m. till about 8:45 p.m.

PLACE: Race Street Park between Conoy and Tuscarora Streets

This year we will celebrate National Night Out with Free Music in the Park and a really great band:

The Hip Pocket Motown Project

Consisting of ten veterans of the Harrisburg music scene and our own Shipoke neighbor, Josh Dominick, the Hip Pocket Motown Project plays songs of the golden Motown age that have made people sing and dance for decades. The band’s approach remains true to the original classics but also offers a modern interpretation that is sure to please all generations of music lovers.

The event is free and you may invite friends, but Bring Your Own Lawn Chairs and remember, no alcohol is permitted in the park.

Have fun, get to know your Shipoke neighbors, and reinvigorate our commitment to work together to fight crime.
