More Winter or Early Spring? It’s Time for Grounddog Day!

Shipoke SheenaPunxsutawney may have Phil, but we have Shipoke Sheena

And on February 6th, she’ll tell us whether we will have an early Spring or six more weeks of Winter.

Come out for Shipoke’s 3rd Annual Grounddog Day—February 6th, 10 AM.

We’ll start with a ceremony with Harrisburg mayor Eric Papenfuse and Shipokers Hal Fox and Jose Manjon in the Conoy Street Kiddie Park, then move across the street to Los Tres Cubanos for food, drink, music, and fun.

  • Free coffee, donuts, and cake!
  • Kids’ Crafts, Stories, and Fun!
  • Music by Jonathan Frazier!
  • Special Grounddog-themed drink!

Los Tres Cubanos is open for lunch after the celebration (make your reservations—seating is limited!)

Come out for this fun neighborhood tradition. It’s free—bring your family and invite your friends. All are welcome!

See you on the 6th!
